Counseling Services
Our mental health counseling program focuses on healing the effects of abuse and violence, but also includes counseling for family dysfunction, depression, anxiety, behavioral problems, anger and emotional issues related to ADHD and other learning challenges. The services are structured around a supportive crises intervention model and strengths based solution focused therapy. Clients are seen in individual, family, and group treatment by skilled and dedicated professionals possessing years of experience with M.S., MSW, and PhD. Degrees.

Therapeutic Programs: Healing Together
This 8-10 week therapeutic program is designed for children who have experienced trauma, which may include sexual/physical abuse, family violence and/or out-of-home placement. The group meets after school and includes a special component for parents/caregivers to assist them in supporting their child's healing process.
Healing with our Children
A program for non-offending parents/caretakers of a child victim of sexual abuse. The program is designed to educate participants on the impacts and dynamics of sexual abuse and to assist them in supporting their children's healing process.

Referral Information
- Individual, family and group counseling are available by appointment.
- Flexible office hours including early morning, evening and Saturdays.
- All cases triaged based on risk.
- Center staff works collaboratively with schools, physicians and community agencies when requested by clients.
- Most major insurances are accepted.
- Sliding fee scale is available.
- A limited number of home based counseling services are available for families with acute need and limited resources to get to the Center.
